Full Chip Migration Services

Although many existing chips would benefit from being available in a different manufacturing process, for cost reduction programs or for second sourcing reasons, the task of moving from one foundry to another is often regarded as too difficult and complex.

IN2FAB's full chip migration services can migrate entire chips from one process or foundry to another, delivering mask level data that complies with the new process rules.

Using a flexible and structured approach allows the design to be ported at the Cadence format library or GDSII levels using critical parts such as IO cells or memories direct from the target process.

Chip level Port-on-Demand is ideally suited to companies with legacy data considering moving to an external foundry (“Fab-lite”) or fabless model or those needing to reduce costs on high volume parts.
